Two year hiatus?

So...

Haven't been on here for something like two years.

Lots of things have happened. I've been living with my GF (new one) for nearly a year now. I live in the middle of nowhere, but am learning to deal with it.

I'm still working at the same place. I've taken a class at U of T, but need to go back.

More to come, need to warm back into blogging again, I think.

Weekend

Well, went home to Cobourg for the weekend to spend some time with my handsome guy.

The train ride there was non-existant. I got there 45 mins late only to wait 1/2 an hour for the stupid bus that they booked in lieu of the train. I hate buses on long trips.

Didn't sleep much. Or perhaps I didn't sleep much at night and got snatches during the day.

I didn't sleep well last night either for that matter.

Have my neurologist appointment today.

Nothing else much up.

Weekend.

Well, this weekend was a busy and interesting one.

I went over to Michelles with a couple bottles of wine, and we both got really, really drunk.

I was hungover like you wouldn't believe Saturday. Still I got up and went to the "Nimble Thimble" and picked up some enbroidery stuff for my Mom. And I went to No Frills for Grocery Shopping and I also hit a Salvation Army or other Thrift store for a jacket and shirt for Lucas' party.

After a day long recovery, I did go to Lucas' which was fun, but I'd found out that Lizzie's going away party was the same evening, so I left Lucas' so go there.

Didn't really get up to much at Adam's though. THey were already playing the "Order of the Stick" game, so I just hung around and had a beer. It was interesting though.

Then I spent Sunday getting a few more odds and ends for groceries, and I spent the evening labeling stuff and polishing my shoes.

Pure excitement.

Valentine's Day and other stuff...

Well, tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I'm going ot make a dinner for Meaghan.

Hung out with Lizzie last night. Lent her even more books. I'd just gotten the first two books of the Blood Jewel's trilogy back, and Anne Bishop rocks!!

No worries Michelle. I kept the third one in reserve for you.

It was fun times. I still have a lot of work to do for tomorrow.

An interesting tale...

Well, read the The Outsider, which was very interesting.

Camu has some interesting ideas.

I might read The Myth of Sisyphus next. The two are apprently companion books. Which in turn may lead me to The Second Sex(can't remember the authors name), but only due to its ties to existentialism.

Anyhoo, got it read (not surprising since its only 119 pages...

Sons and Lovers

I finished reading D.H. Lawrence's Sons and Lovers, which was rather depressing.

But overall a good read.

Next is Camu's The Outsider (Sometimes also called "The Stranger")

Though this one is for school.

My first in class essay comes next week. Yay.
