Roar!!

Not sure where that came from. Just is.

Anyhoo, this weekend was interesting.

On Friday I had Michelle over. We hung out and stuff. Made breakfast the next morning...

WHich she was later pissed about because I had Megan over and I made her Crepes for breakfast instead of eggs, fruit w/ cottage cheese and salad. I didn't want to eat the same thign two days in a row...

Hit the word on the street, which was cool. But wet. I got soaked.

Watched X-men with Meg and Phil avec the Riff track. Which was pretty funny, and we added some good ones I think.

What do you think are the odds that Patrick Stewart and Ian McEllan (sp?) actually don't know how to play chess?

Anyhoo, thats about it.

Fitness

Went to an information session about the Academic Bridging program at U of T. Looks pretty good on my being able to get in. I'm going to have to consider if I can afford it and such...

I've been going to the gym now everyday for the past six days in a row. During the week I've been getting up at five in the morning. Means I also go to bed rather early.

But its been good. Mostly doing some cardio.

Should've posted something about it actually, but it didn't occur to pass it on until after. but then again, I signed up the second last day that you could. So its not like I had lots of time to contemplate it.

Sports Club of Canada is doing a challenge, which I signed up for, that I get to use their gym (only one of them) for free for six weeks. SO I figure I should get everything I can out of it.

Hung out at Kim, Dan and Alex's on Saturday last for a Mob movie night. I was good times to hang out with them. Got to talk to people. Strangely enough I had a fairly long conversation with Greg's GF.

On Sunday I hung out with Megan. We went on a long walk a la the old days in Cobourg. We had some fun. Besides the incident with the "deaf" guy.

Thats about it.

Heh.

Okay. So I guess it should be said that at the Beer Fest, I kissed Michelle, Mark and Lucas. Apparently I forgot to.

Onto other things.

Well, its been a Tara weekend for Meggo. We had our date night on Friday, which went well. We went to Hernando's hideaway, since she loves Tex-Mex so much. We came home and she went out with Shaun, Matt and such. Met up with Chris and...whatever his new guy's name is. We'll see if he's around for long... I have the feeling that new guy is a rebound. But I could be wrong.

We also had a party at our place. Or rather Anita had a party. No Hard feelings. I just had to quiet them down when they were yelling outside at 4:30AM...and liable to wake up people who live over a bar. I'm sorry, but its bad when people over a bar are getting bothered by you.

On Saturday we went to Phil's B-day party, toga-less. I'm not a toga wearing kinda gal. That and it was cold and wet outside, not very condusive to the toga wearing. I also have several other reasons, but suffice it to say I did not wear one. And at the end, Phil was the only one wearing his.

It was good times. I demonstrated my Twister talent. (undefeated) And Pat touched up my Tatt a little, so it looks outright awesome now, and he touched up a couple of Meggo's colours on her tatt as well. Thanks Pat! She say we're apparently going to have Pat and Meg over for the last colour and Pricillia Queen of the Desert night sometime. And a pint at the Pub next door. Coolness.

On Sunday, the horror of horrors, we hitched a ride to Cobourg with Ben (Thanks to Ben for the ride!) And hung out with my family for the day. We took the kids out to dinner and watched some movies with them. It was good times. Meaghan and Mom got on a lot better than previously, which is really good. Mom even asked how Meggo was doing when she phoned me today.

(I think maybe Mom has realized that of her prospects for daughter in law or even girlfriend, at least Meggo is...neither touched, nor trailer trash, and thereby beats any of my brother's GF's by a very, very wide margin.)

That about sums up my long weekend, thus far.

And interesting time, neh?
